always you three.
Since I have some free time on my hands and also the weather today was surprisingly encouraging, I went to do some outdoor watercolour sketching. I wanted to practice painting trees, which I think are my weak point (when painting in watercolours) so I went to the Korakuen Japanese garden. This time, I first drew pencil lines then used my portable watercolours set. I added some details and lines using pastels back at home.
Technical stuff:
- Medium: Cotman Watercolour paper B5 Medium 270g/m
- Lines: 4B and B mitsu-bishi pencil
- Colours: My Winsor&Newton, Schmincke 24 colours watercolour set and pastels
